Robert Englund,
a founding partner of MRE with more than 15 years in commercial
brokerage, is a residential investment specialist focused
on the Berkeley and Oakland area market.
Englund's annual
business volume, well into the tens of millions, recently
earned him a top-rated slot on the San Francisco Business
Times list of top commercial real estate producers.
Englund's career
before real estate included overseas postings for Bechtel
and, regionally, as on-staff consultant for a leading Northern
California syndicator.
Robert is a
Berkeley native and property owner. He serves
on the board of directors of the Berkeley Property Owners
Association, and holds the advanced Certified Commercial
Investment Member designation (CCIM), and further certification
as an Equity Marketing Specialist (EMS).
Only rarely
does he skydive dressed as Santa Claus.

Erik
Housh
Since 1986,
Erik Housh has been active in commercial real estate as
both a manager and salesperson. Prior to founding
MRE in 1992, he built the commercial division of Mason-McDuffie
Real Estate into one of the largest commercial brokerages
in the Bay Area; eventually expanding the agent roster to
35.
A lifelong resident
of the East Bay, Housh’s focus is on commercial rehab, conversion
and development. In addition to sales and leasing, he often
acts as consultant to clients undertaking development projects.
Housh's recent
projects include: in Berkeley a 56,000 S.F. office/light
industrial project anchored by Computer Currents Magazine,
Peach Pit Press and StarQuest; in Emeryville the conversion
of two 15,000 square foot warehouse buildings to high-tech
office space; in West Berkeley the development of a 60,000
square foot office/light industrial complex.
Erik currently
resides in Piedmont with his wife and two children.

Robert
Lee
Robert Lee
brokers and consults on investments and development in the
Western U.S. and Pacific Rim, with particular focus in Japan,
Korea and Taiwan. He has long experience with international
business, real estate investment, project development and
strategic planning. On behalf of domestic and offshore clients,
he has facilitated the sale and acquisition of properties
ranging from large office and apartment complexes, to golf
courses, hotels and resorts.
Lee, born
in South Korea, came to the United States in 1960.
In 1973, he received a BS degree in engineering from the
University of California at Berkeley. In the mid-Seventies
he worked for the U.S. Department of Defense as an Inspector/Engineer
in the Pacific Rim, and was an engineering consultant to
the University of California at Berkeley.
In 1977,
Lee joined Nakamura Realty, where he became the highest
producing associate with a specialization in high-end residential
sales and investments. In 1988, he became President of Growers
Properties, the commercial subsidiary of Nakamura. There
he handled the structuring of limited partnerships to develop
apartment, office, retail and warehouse projects throughout
the U.S.
In 1992,
Lee was appointed Vice President and Managing Director for
the commercial real estate firm, Realty Investments.
For seven years he directed the sales staff and personally
specialized in investments and joint ventures for acquisitions
and developments in the U.S. and overseas. He joined MRE
in early 1999 as an Executive Director and partner.

Roger Mills,
CCIM
A commercial
real estate broker with more than 17 years specializing
in the leasing and sale of office and retail properties,
Roger Mills has also realized numerous sales of apartment
buildings, leased investments, raw land and industrial properties.
Mills has
successfully completed hundreds of transactions throughout
Northern California, with an emphasis on the East Bay Area,
including Richmond, San Pablo, Pinole, Berkeley, Emeryville
and Oakland. His most recent transactions include the sale
of a 42,000 square foot retail center, the lease of a 20,000
square foot retail site to 98 Cent stores, the leasing of
business offices to Contra Costa County, the leasing of
a build to suit site to a national restaurant tenant and
numerous leases for H&R Block.
In 1996,
Mills earned the advanced Certified Commercial Investment
Member designation (C.C.I.M.) from the Commercial Investment
Real Estate Institute (CIREI).

Richard
Odenheimer
A founding
partner of MRE, Richard Odenheimer has brokered commercial
real estate transactions for more than 20 years. During
that time he has expanded his practice to include not only
sales and leasing, but also development, management and
general consulting. He has sold, leased and now manages
holdings throughout the Bay Area, but his primary territory
comprises the cities of Emeryville, Berkeley and Oakland.
Dick is a
native San Franciscan and a graduate of California State
University, San Jose. He resides in Piedmont with
his wife and son.

David
Shamszad
David Shamzad specializes
in tenant representation – the seeking out of, and negotiating
for, the ideal space for private businesses, corporations
and nonprofit organizations. Collaterally, he has successfully
supported many landlords in leasing up their properties.
A young man, he devotes impressive levels of energy, enthusiasm
and loyalty to furthering the goals of his clients.
After graduating with a Bachelor
of Arts from Dartmouth College, where his studies focused
on literature, math and the sciences, Dave pursued his interest
in the education and counseling of at-risk teens. He taught
and counseled young people and advanced to supervise and
manage a teacher and counseling staff. For his good work
Dave was recognized by The State of Rhode Island as one
of the three most exemplary direct care workers in the state.
These days, when he is not
in the office or in the field representing his clients,
an avid athlete, Dave can often be found playing basketball
in San Francisco, gearing up for his next snowboarding excursion,
or cycling through the Marin Headlands.
