David Shamszad
As the youngest member of the MRE team, David
established himself quickly in the Bay Area real estate market. David
specializes in property management and owner representation. His
inter-personal relationship skills, diligence, and good nature make him a
masterful building manager and negotiator. The tenants in his buildings are
happy, satisfied, and apt to stay loyal to the owner when leases expire.
Vacancies in his management portfolio are
minimal due to negotiating prowess, diligence, and enthusiasm. David grew up
in the real estate world, with a family of developers and investors. This
has given him a rare intuition and a sharp acumen for understanding the
economics and customer relations of successful real estate ownership. As a
sales and leasing broker, he makes sure both the buyer and seller informed
and happy participants during every transaction.
David's background is one of academics,
athletics, and service to the public. He attended both Head-Royce and the
Urban School as a youth, two of the Bay Area's premier institutions.
Following his secondary education, he traveled east and matriculated at
Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. There he studied Literature, Math, and
the Sciences, all while leading his Varsity Crew team to a 6th place finish
at the National Championships of collegiate rowing. Following his graduation
in, David served the under-privileged and adjudicated youth of Rhode Island
as a residential counselor, teacher, and supervisor.
He now lives in San Francisco with his better
half, Leanne, who serves San Francisco County’s troubled and disenfranchised
children. When he is not managing commercial property and representing
landlords and tenants, David can likely be found at his boxing gym, a
basketball court, or preparing for a marathon.
